A short distance from the Candlelight Chapel one finds this plaque, which reads:

Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, Founder of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, endowed with lofty gifts, struck with a staff this rock from which flowed a fountain of water in the year of Our Lord 1912.

Like Lourdes, in France, the visitor can draw water from the spring via water taps. We, (Marc and Tony) drank from the Spring before ascending to the mountain summit.
